Mr Donal McCullagh
Ophthalmology
Mr Donal McCullagh MBChB, BSc, FRCOphth, is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in cataract, glaucoma, and eyelid surgery. He graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2010 with an Honours degree in Medicine and Surgery MBChB, and 1st Class Honours in Pharmacology BSc. He completed his ophthalmology training in Northern Ireland and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in 2021, then completed a clinical fellowship specialising in Glaucoma at Bristol Eye Hospital, England. After this he worked as a Glaucoma Consultant in Bristol for a year, then was appointed as Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in Western HSC Trust Northern Ireland in 2023.
Mr McCullagh has expertise in all ophthalmology conditions, and a particular interest in cataract surgery, glaucoma investigation and management, and minor eyelid surgery.
